Yes! Goldberg Pay does not have a minimum age requirement for businesses. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been in business for 1 day or 10 years, you can still apply and get qualified, usually within 24 hours.
You can apply at any time. We understand setting up a business is a difficult process. You can apply at any point during the business development stage.
That’s okay. Please disclose your processing methods on your application so we can ensure all of your transactions will run smoothly. Even if you change the way you run transactions later on, that’s fine as well. Many of our customers change their transaction methods over time.

We are definitely more flexible than the big banks when it comes to approving our customers. We may ask for some additional documents or perhaps an explanation, but we will try our best to get you approved. Go ahead and apply now online, we would love to earn your business.
Some big banks automatically reject specific business types. Goldberg Pay works with various payment networks so that we can get you qualified. In other words, we don’t auto-reject you based on your business name or business type. Go ahead and apply now online!
Yes! We understand that some businesses are seasonal, such as fireworks stands, or some concession stands. We would love to earn your business. Go ahead and apply online now.
Yes! Let’s assume today is Monday and you charge your client today via a credit card transaction. The credit card transaction will take one day to settle, which would be Tuesday in this example. You would receive your money on Wednesday via a direct deposit, so you will have your funds before you even wake up.
No problem at all. As long as your client chips, swipes, dips, or however else they physically pay with their card, it will not be a problem. If you want to charge your foreign customers remotely, we have a special program for you, called “Goldberg Pay International”, that specializes in such transactions.
Yes, many of our clients need to authorize a hold and then charge the correct amount. For many businesses this is a normal procedure and with Goldberg Pay we make it affordable!
That’s perfectly fine, we have small portable devices that can connect to your phone or work independently, and they are awesome for businesses on the go.
A POS system is a bit more sophisticated in that you can easily click on products or modifications to the product and they automatically add up your bill, as well as send a message to your kitchen or back office, if needed, with the requested product/services. For example, with a POS you can click on burger, extra pickles on the burger, small fries, and large soda. In contrast with a terminal, where you would only be able to charge the total amount.
Generally, we will ask for a voided check or last checking statement for the business account where you want your funds to be deposited to. In certain circumstances we may ask for a liquor license or other business license. In addition to the above, we may ask for the drivers license or ID of the business owner(s).
Usually, we can get you approved in one business day.
We will ship out our equipment to you via 2-day air express. It usually takes us a full business day to get the equipment ready for shipping.
